We're excited to announce the preview release of nonbios-1.13, our most capable autonomous AI agent for software development yet. This release represents a significant advancement in how AI agents approach complex development tasks with minimal human intervention.

The improvements in nonbios-1.13 are substantial. We're seeing marked gains in task focus and autonomous behavior—agents now require significantly less human guidance to complete the same tasks that previously needed more oversight.

Alongside this launch, we're making important changes to our model lineup. We've deprecated both nonbios-1 and nonbios-1.2. While nonbios-1 was our original workhorse and served us well, nonbios-1.1 has overtaken it in virtually every capability and has become the de facto choice for our users. nonbios-1.2 showed promise at launch, but production use revealed limitations we weren't able to resolve.

This consolidation allows us to focus our resources where they matter most. Both nonbios-1.1 and nonbios-1.13 are production-ready and available for deployment now.

I'll be the first to admit our version numbering might seem confusing. It's an artifact of how these models evolved internally. nonbios-1 was our original model. Versions 1.11, 1.12, and 1.13 are variants built on that foundation. nonbios-1.2 was an experimental branch using a completely different underlying architecture. nonbios-1.3 remains in internal experiments. We're working on making this clearer going forward.
